Heimdall Suite v1.4.0 for Windows – Frontend

Heimdall is a cross-platform open-source tool suite used to flash firmware (aka ROMs) onto Samsung mobile devices. Heimdall connects to a mobile device over USB and interact with software running on device known as Loke. Loke and Heimdall communicate via the custom Samsung-developed protocol sometimes referred to as the ‘Odin protocol’.

IMPORTANT: You must Download the 32 bit (x86) Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 redistributable and install it on your system before running Heimdall, even if running it on a 64 bit edition of Windows. In the absence of this you might get the followings errors:

• The program can’t start because MSVCR110.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.
• The program can’t start because MSVCP110.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

• The drivers package can be found in the “Drivers” folder;
• You might want to install that package in order to be able to proceed with flashing.
